About the Role

As a Duty Manager at Hoppers Club, you’ll play a key leadership role across our venue, ensuring exceptional customer service while overseeing food and beverage operations, gaming, functions and general venue operations.

No two shifts are the same. You’ll lead by example, support your team, maintain compliance with Victorian hospitality legislation, and help create memorable experiences for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

As one of our Duty Managers or Supervisors, you will:

• Lead and motivate teams across food & beverage, gaming and venue operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer enquiries professionally.
• Ensure compliance with Victorian liquor licensing, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Open and close the venue, including cash handling, reconciliations and end-of-day procedures.
• Coach and develop team members to maintain exceptional service standards.
• Maintain presentation, cleanliness and operational excellence throughout the venue.
• Work closely with department leaders to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Respond confidently to incidents and make sound operational decisions.
• Support a positive team culture through strong leadership and communication.

About You

We’re looking for passionate hospitality professionals who enjoy leading people and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or Assistant Manager within hospitality.
• Experience working in pubs, clubs, hotels, restaurants or large hospitality venues.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Confidence making operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for customer service.
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role you’ll need:

• Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
• Victorian Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.

Previous gaming experience is highly regarded but not essential.
